November isn’t just about falling leaves and cooler temperatures…it’s also Financial Literacy Month!

What is Financial Literacy Month? 

In 2012, the Parliament of Canada proclaimed each November as Financial Literacy Month to help raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and to strengthen the financial well-being of all Canadians.

This year, the national theme is “Take Charge of Your Finances!” and we’re celebrating by sharing weekly tips, tools and resources throughout the month that are designed to help you:

  1. Manage money and debt more wisely
  2. Save for the future
  3. Understand your financial rights and responsibilities

There is a new sub-weekly theme for each week of November, so keep an eye out on our blog for helpful tips, resources and tools that can help you achieve your financial goals, and more!
