Our Commitment

At Cashco Financial, diversity, equity and inclusion have organically flowed through the organization for many years. We view diversity inclusive to many areas – including race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender, identity, ability, experience, religion, perspectives, and more. We believe the possibilities are endless with a diverse and inclusive workforce. We are strongly committed to building a more inclusive workplace where all Cashconians feel safe, welcome, and respected for who they are, both on the inside and out. We appreciate that our work is a journey and a critical piece to the overall health of the organization. In Fiscal 2022, we have formally committed to phase one of our formal mission; we proudly commit to the following that help make up our vision:

  • Partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI); allowing for dedicated training hours for all staff across all levels.
  • Socialization of our proud new DEI Manifesto; reminding us of how we work together and understand our role for inclusion.
  • Integration of communications following a National Diversity Calendar; building our employment brand both internally and externally.
  • Ability to use personal pronouns in email signatures, loan applications, presentations etc. with ease; enabling us to be our most authentic self.

AND FINALLY, we are extremely proud of our DEI Committee, inspiringly known as our WE THE CHANGE team! Our champions of change – passionate Cashconians from all levels of the organization – will guide us on our best path forward, keeping Cashco accountable to DEI.
