Joan’s Real World Story
Joan and her family have been going through some very hard times. She recently lost her mom, and now just before Christmas she lost her dad, too. When she came to see me, she was struggling and trying her best not to cry. It was going to be her first Christmas alone without her mom and dad. I got Joan a series of photo frames for her to keep her best family memories. Lighting candles can also bring soothing thoughts of your departed love ones, so I also got her a comfort candle. When I surprised Joan with my gift, she was overwhelmed and speechless. It meant so much to her to know that she was not alone and in my thoughts. I am thankful for the opportunity to support Joan in the best way that I know how.
